Stoke, one of the largest suburbs of Nelson. The line of dark green on the left of the number 1 is where Isel Park, one of the City's parks and
historic homes, is with the shopping centre on the right of the 1. The road running up the centre of the suburb just to the right of, and below the number 1 is State Highway 6C - my home is just to the left of the darker section of road about three quarters of the way down in the photo.

Richmond. The very thin verticle line just visible here is the main road south towards Brightwater, about 20 minutes away from where the photo
was taken.

Spooners Range. The main road into the Nelson district from the South comes over this range.

This large building no longer exists, but on the rightof it and just above (on the edge of the photo) is the Wearable Arts and Classical Cars museum.
