Welcome to my Guide to Nelson, New Zealand, with a special emphasis on things of interest to our gay and bisexual visitors - the sort of information I look for when doing the early planning for my holidays out of town, but all too often cannot find without wading through the porn that buries it.

What's New

It is hard to believe that it is 3 years since I last updated this site. I know I have been promising myself for some time to do it as an update was overdue, but 3 years, really.
This time round, minor changes were made on nearly every page - business that no longer existed, and links to other sites that no longer worked etc. were removed; everything was re-read - you'll be amazed as to how many tuping mistakes I picked up (at least 1 on nearly every page, somtimes as many as 10 or more a page); and other minor touch-ups in layout were carried out.
Another attempt was made to remove the archive material that related to Spectrum (Nelson) inc., at their request (previous attempts to do so were failures for various reasons, but now everything should be fine). This update took place on 12^th March 2007.

Planned changes etc.
I am currently working on a re-working of the photos on this site, removing/replacing some of the pooer quality ones, and adding new ones (all of them a bit bigger than what is currently here), so keep your eyes open for these in the future. Also, I am hoping to gather up some of the bits and pieces that I wrote for the various Spectrum Newsletters in the past (that have been removed from the archives that were here) but still have some relevance, and add them here.
